Woodworking Bevel Cut

A bevel is one of two possible angle cuts a woodworker can make.

You can do this with a compound miter saw if you want to bevel the end of a piece of wood. When you make a cut that changes the angle of the edge of a piece of wood with respect to the face you re making a bevel cut.
